Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--5.6, 1.0; HindIII--6.6; EcoRI/HindIII--3.0, 2.6, 1.0; BglI--2.4, 1.8, 1.2, 0.6 + smaller; PstI--3.0, 1.9, 1.5. The following enzymes do not cut within the insert: AatI, AatII, AvaI, BglII, EcoRI, EcoRV, HaeII, HindIII, PvuII, SalI, SstI, XbaI, XhoI. The insert contains the following restriction sites (nucleotide position according to the published sequence): BamHI--30; BglI--109; KpnI--599, PstI--1038. This clone has a 2.6 kb EcoRI/HindIII fragment of unknown origin. Our EcoRI digest is consistent with deposited DNA. The insert extends from nucleotide 13 to 1094 of the published sequence. The coding sequence extends from 106 to 2517, with the signal peptide encoded from 106 to 168. |
